Privacy Policy
What We Do (and Don't) With Your Data
Information We Do NOT Collect
Ascend does not collect, transmit, or store any personally identifiable information on our servers. Your name, email, location, and usage data are never sent to us. All game data — your player level, XP, quests, skills, and streaks — is stored exclusively in local storage on your device using Hive (an on-device database).
In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
Ascend offers a premium subscription processed entirely through Apple's In-App Purchase system (StoreKit). We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status — RevenueCat receives a pseudonymous user identifier from Apple but does not receive your name, Apple ID, or payment information. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Analytics
We do not use any analytics SDKs (no Firebase, no Mixpanel, no Amplitude). We have no visibility into how you use the app. No crash reports, no screen recordings, no event tracking.
Home Screen Widget
The home screen widget displays your level, XP, and streak. This data is passed between the app and the widget extension using Apple's shared App Group container — a local, on-device mechanism. No data leaves your device.
Data Retention
Since we store no data on our servers, there is nothing to delete or export. If you delete the app, all local data is removed automatically by iOS.
Third-Party Services
The only third-party SDK in Ascend is RevenueCat (subscription management). RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy. No advertising SDKs, no tracking frameworks, no social login.
Children's Privacy
Ascend is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

The Rules of the Game
Acceptance
By downloading or using Ascend, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Subscription Terms
Ascend Premium is an auto-renewable subscription at $5.99/month after a 7-day free trial.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription auto-renews monthly unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel at any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Unused trial time is forfeited when you purchase a subscription during the trial period.
User Conduct
You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of Ascend. You agree not to use the app for any unlawful purpose.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Ascend is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted. Use it at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ascend and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Tunisia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tunisia.
